The wife of the man who was fatally slashed hours after their wedding has told family and friends to stay strong and not feel sad for her.
Allan Tee Kok Weng's wife, Shiou Ting or better known as Krystal, thanked family and friends who showed support and care following the tragic incident which occurred on Monday in Taman Mount Austin here.
“Although he has passed away, I promised my husband that I would be strong.

“Thank you for your support and care but please do not feel sorry for us,” she said in a Facebook post.
Krystal, whose Facebook page was filled with pictures of her and Tee, also posted that she missed her husband very much.
“We just attended our wedding dinner and suddenly you are gone. My heart is aching. I love you so much,” she said.
Krsytal also posted that she would pray for her husband and hoped that he would rest in peace.
“I will always remember you and constantly think of you as my husband. Love you forever,” she posted.
It was reported that Tee, who owned a spare parts shop here, died after he was slashed by a group of men wearing ski masks.
The incident took place after Tee, Krystal and several friends, relatives and Tee's employees went to a bistro for drinks after the couple's wedding dinner on Sunday night.
Tee was attacked while the group was about to leave the bistro at about 2am. He died on the spot.
Johor Baru (South) OCPD Asst Comm Zainuddin Yaacob said police had yet to make arrests relating to the case.
When asked if the motive could be linked to gang rivalry or revenge, Johor Baru said police were investigating the case from all angles.
